Flow Productions publishes a book of photography “Upoksissa – Immersed” of its immersive productions!
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Flow Productions from Oulu, Finland, has created seven immersive works between 2014 and 2024. Each performance has allowed members of the audience to step inside and become a part of it. Director Pirjo Yli-Maunula and several artists, designers, and other professionals have\u00a0told dark stories in the spirit of surrealistic dreams.<\/p>\n

Many a deserted place has been revived momentarily: the sawmill island, the water reservoir tower, the barracks.<\/p>\n

Immersed lets the reader revisit the worlds of Flow – or lead towards them for the first time. Photography as peeking holes throughout is done
\nby Janne-Pekka Manninen. The texts, mulling on the character of the works, is written by Tenka Issakainen.<\/p>\n

The book is bilingual, the English translation was made by Pasi Pirttiaho. The visual design and layout of the book are by Henna Raitala.<\/p>\n

While browsing the book, you can also immerse yourself in the musical atmosphere of the works with the help of Anssi Laiho’s soundtrack.
