Ludo and Arsène is a madcap performance by a freakishly skilled Belgian acrobatic duo on the Kesäkatu of Valkea Shopping Centre.
The duo use ordinary ladders in unusual ways and invite the audience to join in the fun. The pair seem to have an important job to do, but are constantly interrupted. What happens in the end – that’s what you’ll find out in BE FLAT’s performance Ludo & Arsène, a show that’s not lacking in speed and dangerous situations.

Be Flat is a circus company based in Ghent Belgium, founded by Ward Mortier and Thomas Decaesstecker. The company is known for its unique mix of acrobatic circus and urban sports. Be Flat is the chameleon among the circus artists. By responding to the environment, each of their performances become a unique event.
As residents of the urban environment, artists are fascinated by the public space. The city is a living organism in constant flux. How do we use this common space? Who are we in today’s street scene?
Be Flat strives for equality. They play for everyone. The goal is to use our creativity to bring spectators with different backgrounds together, during our ‘interventions’, and also thereafter.
