The Finnish Race Horse Company and the Estonian Big Wolf Company have joined forces to create a contemporary circus world unlike any other!
The Weird & Wonderful Circus Cabaret With a Twist is a spectacular journey into the fascinating and peculiar heart of circus and cabaret. It is a world where nothing is quite what it seems: traditional circus disciplines – magic, aerial acrobatics, juggling, and balancing – take on new and unexpected forms. Charismatic characters step onto the stage, leading the audience into surprising encounters. Elements of the grotesque, playful humor, and constant unpredictability keep the intensity high, creating an unforgettable experience.
The performance draws from the aesthetics of cabaret, rebuilding them through fractured music, absurdity, and top-level circus technique. The result is both a celebration and an exploration of what makes live performance so unique — and dangerously captivating.

About the producers of the performance:
Race Horse Company was founded in 2008 out of a desire to create uncompromising and unique contemporary circus. The group has become known for its raw energy, gritty aesthetics, and thrilling unpredictability, where strong acrobatics meet chaos, black humor, and a sense of real danger. RHC has grown into one of the most internationally recognized Finnish contemporary circus companies. International tours and hit shows such as Petit Mal and Super Sunday have made the group one of Finland’s most visible names in cultural export.
RHC and its founding members have received numerous awards during their careers (including the Sirkuksen Lumo, the Finnish State Prize for Circus Art, the Children’s and Youth Theatre Award, and the Lapsenpäivä Award). Over the years, the once rebellious teenager of contemporary circus has matured, finding sensitivity and human emotion amid the chaos. With each new work, RHC continues to push boundaries and redefine contemporary circus with an uncompromising spirit, bringing new shades and layers of humanity to the stage with courage and surprise.
Big Wolf Company is Estonia’s first professional contemporary circus company. It was founded by Grete Gross and Lizeth Wolk, both graduates of Finland’s SaSak Circus Education program. Big Wolf Company enchants audiences with its diverse productions, ranging from stylish comedies to deeply moving solo performances. The group aims to increase the visibility of contemporary circus in Estonia and to build international collaborations across performing arts by exploring the limitless possibilities of circus. The company has represented Estonian contemporary circus in Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, England, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Turkey, and Congo.
