H O M A N. Is it a reference to mankind? A reference to home? To men? Perhaps neither home, something human or masculine? Perhaps it is not what you think it is, or what you thought you recognized. Almost, but not quite. A performance inspired by the artists’ feelings evoked by a thought: What happens after the downfall of humanity? In seriousness and humor, they express themselves through their bodies, manipulating large metal rings, and cutting-edge knowledge in sound technology.
The company consists of Vejde Grind from Sweden and Vincent Bruyninckx from Belgium. Both circus artists, dancers and movement researchers who met during their studies at the Circus University in Brussels (ESAC).
