THE SECRET GARDEN is the latest immersive performance by Flow Productions. Director Pirjo Yli-Maunula and her team have created a new site-specific piece in the same vein as the hugely successful works THE TOWER (2017) and VARJAKKA (2014). This time the piece will be experienced in the Kempele horticultural college. THE SECRET GARDEN is a vision of dystopia, open for the audience to enter and explore, to uncover its secrets, to bear witness to its terrifying beauty.
THE SECRET GARDEN is created by dancers Pirjo Yli-Maunula, Milla Virtanen and Maria Littow, acrobats Ilona Jäntti and Milla Järvinen, sound designer Anssi Laiho, assistant Nikke Launonen, light designer Jukka Huitila and wardrobe designer Heidi Kesti. Set design by the team in co-operation with students and teacher, master florist Pasi Kivilompolo from the OSAO Kempele-Liminka Unit. Photography, texts by Janne-Pekka Manninen.
